MYS had and has a significant contribution to the ministry of the Church as well as to the nation and the global ecumenical organizations and sisters Churches. Majority of the leaders on the Church level and at many synods had their footsteps at MYS be it for short or long period of studies. Present President and General Secretary were students of the MYS.
