    Dear sir Madam,
    Re: Possible teaching vacancy 2015

I am a British born native English speaking teacher seeking a full or part time teaching position at International Community School from April 2015. I completed my Secondary Education in the UK before settling in Australia where I completed my secondary teaching Qualification at LaTrobe University Melbourne. For the past twelve years I have worked as a humanities teacher in the public education system At Northern College of the Arts and Technology in Melbourne, Victoria. I took a year out from late 2006 to late 2007 during which I lived and travelled around Ethiopia and taught for a brief period at Gibson Youth Academy.
Subjects I have taught in Australia include the following:
    • VCE Legal studies at Year 11+12 level
    • VCE Business Studies at Year 11+12 level
    • VCE Australian History at Year 11+12 Level
    • VCAL Personal Development
    • VCAL Literacy
    • VCAL Work Related Skills
    • English at Year 10 level
    • Certificate 2 in Retail
Note: VCE stands for the Victorian Certificate of Education which is the final school leaving certificate for secondary students in the State of Victoria wishing to enter tertiary or university courses.
VCAL stands for the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning which is the States alternative school leaving certificate for those students seeking a vocational pathway into a trade or continuing studies at a Technical and Further Education College.
I can be contacted by email at and would appreciate your feedback or comments as I prepare my plans for next year.
    Kind regards
    Levi Lawrence
